This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
Information We Collect
Account & Business Information
When you set up your front desk, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business details (business name, service area, and hours) needed to answer calls for you.
Caller Communications & Call Handling
When your business forwards a call to Asili, we process the caller's phone number and the SMS conversation, and for answered voice calls the call audio, to greet the caller, qualify the job, and book or capture it. Callers hear an AI disclosure, and on voice a recording notice, before the conversation begins.
Decision Logs
We keep a timestamped record of what the assistant heard, what it understood, and the action it took on each call, so you can review and audit every decision.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the dashboard, including pages viewed, features used, and time spent on the Platform.
How We Use Your Information
- Answer, qualify, and route or capture the calls your business forwards to us
- Text callers back on the number they used to reach you, with an opt-out in every message
- Notify you when a job is booked or a lead needs a human callback
- Keep a timestamped decision log you can review and audit
- Improve our systems only with your explicit opt-in. We do not train any model on your data, or your callers' data, by default
- Send operational communications about your account
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
AI and Machine Learning
Our Platform uses artificial intelligence to answer and qualify calls, draft SMS replies, and route or capture jobs. Callers are told they are speaking or texting with an AI assistant. We use your data to operate the service for you. We do not train any model on a business's or a caller's data without the business's explicit opt-in, and we never share your data with other businesses.
All assistant actions are logged and visible to you through the Platform. You can review, override, or adjust how the assistant works for you, and you can export or delete your data at any time.
Call Recording & Messaging Consent
- Every voice call answered by Asili opens with an AI disclosure and, where the call is recorded, a recording notice, before the conversation begins.
- Messaging is inbound only: Asili only texts a caller who just contacted your business, never a cold or purchased list, and every message includes an opt-out (reply STOP).
- No mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or consent will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- You are responsible for using Asili in line with the call-recording and messaging laws that apply where you and your callers are located. We provide the disclosures and opt-out controls to help you do so.
Information Sharing
We may share your information with:
- Service Providers: Telephony providers (such as Twilio), cloud infrastructure, and payment processors (such as Stripe)
- Regulatory Bodies: Regulators and compliance agencies as required by law
- The business we answer for: Caller and job details are shared with the home-services business whose front desk the caller reached
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention
We retain call transcripts, decision logs, and job records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can export your data, or delete it and your account, at any time. Business and payment records are retained only as needed to comply with financial and tax regulations.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your personal information
- Object to certain processing activities
- Export your data in a portable format

International Transfers
